I use the word “wealthy” because anyone that is on a tight budget shouldn’t be looking at a brand new release like the Ping G425 SFT for another few years. There are simply too many other great draw-biased drivers on the market for far less money. Start with earlier SFT releases. The easiest way to save money is to use the earlier SFT releases. Even more important, you can just continue working on your swing without worrying about driver draw biases. Focusing on your swing will save you money, be more logical, and help you get the most out of your $500+ driver.

A Better Value Option Typically I spent quite a lot of time searching for the best value option for my club. I look at e. Bay sold listings. I look at previous models. I compare models of other brands. It was easy to find reviews about different drivers and see their general pros and cons. However, I found this too straightforward. This was far too easy.

If you don’t want to pay a large sum for the Ping G425 FFT driver, the Ping G400 SFT is the better choice. Ping G400 or G425 SFT is almost exactly the same driver. There are only three differences between them: 1. Twenty-five 2. The paint job. 3. The price. While I wouldn’t put a lot of money on either, the performance difference is not significant over time.

Ping G425 SFT sells for $530 including tax and shipping. Ping G400 SFT selling at around $200 with no shipping. I think the choice is quite clear. How do you feel?

Ping G425 drivers, the latest version of Ping’s popular G-series are now available. It all began with the Ping G driver back in 2016. Ping’s 2016 Ping G driver was the catalyst. Year after year, Ping refined and tuned their clubs’ performances while still keeping an underlying premise. You can expect a mixture of power and distance with some forgiveness, when you most need it.

On a long par 5, with the “big stick” in our hands, we all require forgiveness. It’s a fact.

You’ll find one or two things a little different in this year’s drivers. Notice that I said slightly. Ping has been a good sport about being restrained and not allowing the golf industry to add more buzzwords or gimmicks.

Suppose you have played with Ping drivers at all over the last 5 years. In that case, you’ll find a few familiar things, alongside a few small improvements that promise to make this a really firm favorite in the golf season to come.

Ping G425 MAX, one of the most all-around Ping drivers, is my first topic. Next, we’ll move onto the more specific LST/SFT drivers. There, we’ll talk about the differences and which clubs would be the best.

Let’s start with the G425 Max Driver review. The Ping G425, which is basically the “vanilla” version of this three-driver driver series, has been reviewed.

Let’s just say that it isn’t true. “Vanilla” doesn’t really do this club justice. You will find a lot of features, which all come together to create a wonderful whole.

The Ping G425 Max is for you if your handicap level is average or high. You may also want to be more consistent on the fairway with your Ping G425 Max. This model offers plenty of forgiveness, adjustable weights and hosel that allow you to adjust your shot shape.

G425SFT Driver Review The next driver in our lineup is the Ping G425SFT driver. Although there isn’t much difference in this model from the Max, it does have some differences that make it an interesting club to be part of.

The ‘SFT’ of the Ping G425 SFT stands for ‘straight flight’ technology. It is intended to reduce the likelihood of the ball being sliced.

You will find most of what you would expect from the G425 Max in this club, plus a few additional options.

It is identical in size and has a 460cc head. The ball will still look unmissable.

It’s still possible to find T9S T9S forged face, turbulator, dragonfly, and internal routing…

A player with consistency, who hits it right every time would love the Ping G425SFT. The 25-yards of bias added by the Ping G425 SFT are worth it. It’s quite a bit of movement. G425 Max could be an option for you if the G425 Max has a tendency to leak occasionally.

Our final model is the G425 LST Driver. LST… Low Spin Track Trajectory. These three letters hint at the purpose of this driver.

Do I think I’ve saved the best till last?

It all depends on who you are as a player and what you’re looking for.

Ping G425 Max was meant for people seeking forgiveness and assistance. The G425 Max is a club for mature adults who can let you do what you want, regardless of whether or not it has been approved.

You’ll also find many great features in the Max as well as the SFT. This includes a precision forged face, a highly aerodynamic design (complete with turbulators), and an adjustable hosel.
