Ping I500 Isometric Irons Vs Taylormade P770

The TM P770s aimed at addressing the control issue with the TM790 tinkerers. The TM P700 irons offer a smaller head profile and generate more spin compared to their predecessor. Performance is almost identical between the Ping i500 irons and the TM P700 irons.

We recommend that you try them all, make sure they fit properly and choose the one you prefer. They will both serve you well. Check out our TaylorMade review of the P770 irons

Ping I500 Review

My Best Purchase!

I have been a 20+ years Taylor made loyalist and was going to buy P790 irons… read some reviews on I500 irons and fell in love with the look of the irons… So I finally decided to give the irons a go and went to Ping Sydney Australia for a fitting. I had a fantastic experience! Recoil780/F3. Those shafts are beautiful and amazing ! I tried G700 for a while, and then I decided on I500. The shafts are just too stunning to pass up. My trajectory is extremely high, and the distance was only one and a half miles. Seriously happy 🙂

Yes.

I would recommend this product.

Recommendations

Posted Hi All! I am planning to order some PIng I500 Irons.

I was an AP2 player, and now I want something more flexible.

We are seeking long-term reviews and not launches monitor reviews.

It is more probable that I will get the 3 – PW Set with my PX6.0. And, maybe, a pair or glide-forged wedges.

Many Thanks

Review & Specs for Ping Irons G425 Irons vs. Irons I500 Irons in 2021

Ping i500 Irons vs Ping g425 Irons Review & Specs 2021 Ping’s rise from humble beginnings and one man’s garage has seen it become one of golf’s most recognizable brands. While Karsten Solheim established the company in 1959 with irons for his customers, it took ten more years to start producing them.

The company has been crafting various models of distance irons for players over the years that provide consistent distance while allowing forgiveness.

We will be comparing the Ping G425 irons and the Ping i500 Irons. This review is intended to show you which irons are best for your game.

Introduction to Ping G425/i500 i500 Irons G425irons is part of the prestigious Grange that Ping created back in 2004.

With the G425 model, Ping has been able to increase the MOI by 3% over their predecessor the G410 while making the heads smaller and more compact. Add that to the 8% increment in MOI of the G400 to G410. Furthermore, the G425 was designed to deliver consistent distance, ball speed, and forgiveness.

Ping’s new i500 irons, however, come from this category. It features a rarely found muscle back design, which is only the second time in thirty years that the company has released irons of this nature.

The i500’s loft is strong and has a wide sole for forgiveness.

Conclusion

After reviewing the Ping G425 vs i500 irons it is clear that both these sets were built for distance and forgiveness. Additionally, shaft lengths and lie angles remain the same. G425 irons, however, have slightly higher loft angles.

Overall, in terms of its advanced technological construction, and increased MOI, ball speed, and carry, the G425 wins this battle.

If you’re a middle handicapper and are looking for an iron set that is consistent, long-lasting, flexible, reliable, and made by a respected manufacturer, you can find out more information about customizing the irons here.

Ping I500 Irons Design

Ping’s G700 and i500 irons are very similar, largely thanks to the appearance and design of these muscleback options.

The offset gives the body a wonderful forged look, while the clubhead is flat in nature.

Ping i500s face is made out of C300 maraging iron, which flexes more on impact than earlier models. The 17-4 stainless-steel body produces what Ping calls “metal-wood like performance”.

The comination helps produce improved ball speed and subsequently distance, all without affecting the forgiveness offered.

To increase ball flight’s trajectory, the geometry of the Muscleback was created to enhance its performance.

Ping has used Hydro. The irons have a Pearl Chrome 2.0 finish to ensure consistency in distance control and accuracy, especially when playing in the rough or wet.

Verdict Ping I500 Irons

The i500 irons have a classic muscleback look, ooze sex appeal and will be a major player with golfers who like to look the part on course – although they do come at quite a premium of a price tag.

But these irons aren’t just about looks. Ping has managed to increase the range’s distance by a lot, so that the club selection can be one more than other models.

Ping i500s’ increased flight path will make them more appealing to players who prefer playing with blades. The Ping i500s are a great all-rounder with lots of forgiveness. However, their most important selling point is their eye-catching range.

Expert Review: Ping I210 Irons and Ping I500 Irons

Ping recently introduced their newest additions to its Ping family: the Ping Ping II20 and Ping Ping I500 irons. Take a look at each club to see how it was constructed and performs.

Club Tested. 7-Iron Shaft : True Temperdynamic Gold; Flex : X100. Loft : 33deg Ping irons i210 are players irons. They’re an evolution of Ping irons i200. A larger insert with custom tuning ports is featured. The insert is 30% wider and 50% softer. Ping claims that this result results in 25% better face contact and smoother impact. A redesigned leading edge and sole combine with a more compact shape and minimal offset to deliver enhanced turf interaction and a high-end look that appeals to better players. The precision-machined i210 grooves mimic Glide 2.0 wedge precision. Sharper edge radius and tighter groove spacing assists in preventing fliers in the scoring irons.

The i210 Irons are designed for professionals and gamers. I do believe that players looking for a lower handicap can find these irons very appealing. + up to 14 handicaps.

Wow! I love the Ping i210s irons. From the moment that I saw the address i210s, I felt confident. Hydro-Pearl 2.0’s finish is smooth and looks long-lasting. Hydro-Pearl’s finish is complemented by a white bottom that helps align the address.

This classic, long and mid-thickness toe line gives it a more boxy feel. Even though the sole isn’t quite as wide as a real blade, the leading edge of the toe is still defined and smooth. This allows the user to see the contact with the turf as well as the visuals at the address.

You get excellent feedback. Everything felt great. The shots to the sweet spot were very smooth. In addition to improving feel, the elastomer insert removes any vibration or clicky sound that cavity backs can produce. Easy to launch a small draw, I was able to do it again and again. A shortened follow-through produced a flighted down ball flight without much hassle.

These irons can be smooth.0 and they are well-worth a look, especially if the goal is to improve your game. The midsized i210 golf clubhead won’t allow you to achieve extreme distances and maximum forgiveness, but it will provide consistency in performance, distance, feel, and control. I may need to make a tough decision about when my irons will be replaced.

While we like irons that help you get better, there are some things that can be biased. Ping i500 is just that kind of iron set.

If you score low already and are quick swinging, then you’ll immediately be able take advantage their better distances and accuracy.

These irons may not be as easy to use for intermediate and novice players, but will offer more benefits for advanced players. You should check them out!
