The WAG, which is striking in architecture and located centrally in downtown's heart, houses an internationally-acclaimed collection, with exhibitions taking place all over the globe. This collection includes almost 24,000 works, many of them Canadian or Manitoba-centric, as well as the largest collection of Inuit contemporary art. The WAG hosts a number of critically acclaimed tours that showcase everything, from Dadaism to the Renaissance, Ancient Greece, and contemporary photography.

The Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) is as impressive on the outside, with its architectural brilliance, as the expansive indoor space housing some 24,000 objects. WAG has installations from most major cities in the world. It also houses one of the best collections of Inuit contemporary art.
